Originally from the South Coast, Cooper grew up on the beach and played rugby for his local club. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra, combining his academic training with a strong passion for sport and performance.
Cooper has a particular interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, with a focus on shoulder injuries and post-operative return to sport. He brings three years of experience as a sports trainer, working across rugby, netball, basketball, and football (soccer), giving him valuable insight into both acute injury management and long-term rehabilitation.
Having played Rugby Union for over 10 years, Cooper is passionate about helping athletes of all levels return to sport safely and confidently, while also supporting the wider community to maximise movement and stay active. He values evidence-based practice and building strong relationships with his patients to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Cooper enjoys training in the gym, playing weekend golf, and staying connected with friends through a number of social sports.
